We had a blast with the VanHattem family! They were so much fun to work with.
They invited us to their friend's beautiful farm, where the kids could amuse themselves in the leaves while they waited for their turn to be photographed.

All the best to the whole family,
Em and Shay

We like to give the option of one of us staging a photobooth for receptions, where the bride and grooms guests can have fun photos taken throughout the night to show how much fun they are having. They are great with or without props, and they are a nice way to get photos of your guests you may not have time to pose with!

I met Amy (and her brides maids!) while working at my first job at the Sydney River Superstore. We all worked there for years, and became friends in the process. I was very excited when Amy emailed me to tell me she was getting married, and that meant we got to go to Cape Breton to shoot a wedding! (Which we LOVE to do)

Amy and Richard got married at a church just up the street from where I (and Amy) grew up. It was so incredible to be shooting in a place so close to home. And to top it all off, my Mom and Dad's 25th wedding anniversary party was the same day! And what a day it was.

Thank you Amy, Richard, and your bridal party for being so much fun and wonderful. We wish you the best, always.

We shot Catie and Matt's engagement at their beautiful home, near Saint Margret's Bay. It was a gorgeous afternoon and the sun was hitting the trees just so. Catie and Matt are so fun and (even though they don't believe it) photogenic. Their personalities and their love for each other shine through in every photo.

We are very excited for their wedding on October 20th, and wish them the very best.

Jackie called me to ask about shooting a wedding, on short notice, for a short period of time, while Emma was away. I was nervous to shoot by myself (it had been so long since I tackled a wedding alone!) but once I started to speak with Jackie I felt like we were kindred spirits.

Than she told me she having her ceremony at the Tangled Garden, which is just easily one of the most beautiful places I know in the Valley.

The ceremony was beautiful, and the love this family and small group of friends has for each other was very present throughout.

Best of luck, Tony and Jackie! It was a pleasure to meet and get to know you, even if it was only for just a little while.

Beth and Andrew were married at Gaspereau Vineyards, in the beautiful Gaspereau Valley. The day started out a little bit damp, but cleared off just in time for photos outdoors in the vineyard!

Beth and Andrew and a lovely couple, they were a lot of fun to work with, and we wish them every happiness in their life together.

We were thrilled when Jodi asked us to take their annual family portrait for their Christmas cards this year -- we had booked to shoot in November, but with her husband participating in Mo-vember, we held off til the first week of December - a bit crisp, but a lovely shoot with a wonderful family!

Portraits are a great gift for any occasion - contact us with your ideas - we'd love to help you out!

We were excited to finally meet Sabrina and Jon after spending much time chatting on the phone and through email across the continent about their big day. They and their families traveled up from Texas for their wedding at the Tangled Garden here in the Annapolis Valley, and we were thrilled they chose us to spend their big day with!

Mel, Josh, their wedding party and their family and friends were so much fun to shoot! They were up for climbing fences, running through fields and a little heavy lifting, all in the name of great photographs.
Mel and Josh went to high school with Emma, who was very happy to shoot their wedding for them. They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony and great reception in a hay barn at the bottom of the North Mountain.

Congrats Mel and Josh!
